18's in front, 19's in rear?

Has anyone here staggered their wheel height? I've looked at lots of posts and haven't found any. Aesthetically, seems like this would look good seeing how our cars have kind of a big butt. The rear tire and wheel always seem to appear smaller to me. Any feedback before I make a costly mistake?
