View Full Version : What's the LARGEST offset we can run?

Basically the opposite of every wheel thread that is started....

Say I were to have a set of 9" rims in the rear. What is the highest offset that will fit (tire pending). 52mm seems to be the holy grail of offsets, but what about a 55mm or even 60mm?

A few people have measured an inch or even 30mm between the inside of the stock tire to "something" on the inner side of the wheel well, but I believe the top of the wheel well is the first thing to rub.

I've done a little research, can't find the answer...Help me!

Thanks

It varies from car to car.

The largest I've seen is 56mm but they ran a 8mm spacer and longer studs to compensate.

60mm should fit as long as you arent running a super fat tire that bulges off the sides a ton. You'll rub the control arm or inner fender if it is too tight.

I think the CCW's I use are 55mm and it's dam close on the inside.

I can't see 5mm more working without hitting.
