Is anyone going to the Summitracing.com Nationals in Vegas next weekend? Would love to meet some new faces at the track, so post up if you'll be there!

I doubt I'll be going to Denver this year. I have gone before and the track set-up is beautiful. But, of course, the porta-potties aren't!

LOL okay... but don't expect a country twang. some people say i sound like i'm from new york. for some reason us new orleanians have a new york type accent while the rest of the state has the typical southern drawl. don't ask me how that happened :D

How'd ya know that's what I was thinking about? I love other people's accents, just not my own. :D

LOL well, i don't even think i have an accent, but that's what other people tell me. it seems a lot of NHRA drivers have a little drawl in their voice. but look at Angelle Savoie (i cannot get used to calling her Sampey) she doesn't have a thick drawl. and she's from a neighborhood not far from me (in fact i'm good friends with one of her cousins) but that's how most of us talk. maybe a slight drawl that pops up in certain words, but that's about it. :D

I was expecting Angelle's voice. Seriously! How weird is it that you would mention her?

No worries! Looks like there won't be too many new faces at the track, just the regulars, so that's okay.
