I just got the time to put all the info up........o well......Stu did a good job starting 20th and ending in 9th. The New car and color skeem a sweet IMO.. I will post some pic tomorrow evening. The Race winner Lou Gigliotti, #28 LG Motorsports C6 Corvette was hard to catch....the first 10 pulled out to a huge lead but then a caution pull the pack back together. It was alot of fun at the track....got to see and Astin martin fly about 142 feet into the gravel trap. they can really fly.........

Damn-- all the best to these guys and I'm glad to see them back.
While the TRG guys in Rolex GT are winning hollow victories in a factory-backed cheatmobile tubular steel racecar, AD continues to revel in the sppirit of true privateer racing without reverting to special dispensation or rules loopholes.
God bless 'em.

You mean the CTS-V in World GT, C6-R in ALMS, and the GTO-R in grand am serve no purpose than being "cheater mobiles". Yea, because things like the LS7 motor and even the evolution of the LS1 into the LS2 have nothing to do with the race experience.
The GTO.R makes less horsepower than my street GTO does. It follows the rules of the class and the wins are not always "in the bag" .. quite a few have come down pretty close.

In racing, weight is everything. It's easier to unload the cart than to add horses. Colin Chapman proved that 50 years ago.
And engine evolution doesn't enter into it when one can slap body-shape panels on a space frame.

Yea, but there are weight rules and weight added to cars that have advantages.

True, but adding weight to make for closer racing at least doesn't just pitch basic homolgation rules out of the window.

and the Porches and BMW are straight factory cars????? NOT..........The CTS-V are made by the same company as the GTO.R the last race in pheonix had a 1, 2 ,3 GTO.R finish and the 3rd GTO was not factory backed....all in all, both teams cars are race cars not street cars turned race car....AD's first car was that.......the 05 and 06 model are not from a street car. it has some parts in the chassis but not like the first year.
this is just a IMO thing
