Ok... I am going to go ahead and use this thread to update my fueling setup as I go with the new setup!
As of now I run a fully External system with -8 feed lines and -6 return lines... all braided. Aeromotive A1000 pump, Aeromotive Rails, Aeromotive FPR.
My newest upgrade for the coming setup just arrived!
96# Flow Matched Low Impedance Injectors and a VersaFueler injector coverter:

Look for updates to occur often in this thread as teh fuel system comes together. I should have my fuel cell middle of next month as well!

The A1000 is good to 800 crank HP at 45 psi on a blown motor. But you are going to run a higher psi so you may get away with it. I ran the 11104 on the yellow car at 838 rwhp; the A1000 didn't quite cut it, but I did not use a boostapump.

Is there a way we can ban Track Day from using exclamation marks in every post? There is no way anyone is that exuberant..
Carry on..
Edit:
Just wanted to ask if you could supply a couple more picures of the fuel system components you are installing.. A top view showing 2 or three injectors and the computer/converter would be great....

I will either be running dual A1000 pumps or a Bosch inline pump and run them into a Y block before sending the fuel to teh rails. That should be plenty sufficient. I was already planning on adding a second pump.

Ha... I made the decision to scrap the 72# injector idea before I was even ready to order. Ended up thinkin the 85# injectors would be plenty, and then decided why not have room to grow, I am already on my 3rd set of injectors as it is... 1. 42# 2. 60# 3. 96#

Those cost big money and since I already have a single A1000 I dont feel like replacing it all. A second inline pump like a Bosch will more than do the job in a dual setup paired with teh A1000. I just don't want to keep selling off everything I already have.

I agree. My buddies 1021 HP twin turbo is fine with a pair of Bosch Porsche turbo pumps; one on all the time and the second under boost.

I would use either a dedicated pressure switch on the intake or maybe a lead off the MAP sensor.
You could use a rpm window switch too.
What's the fuel computer for, will the factory not run the new injectors. Do the injectors require a higher voltage for the valves.

LSx engines run high impedance injectors. My 96# injectors are low impedance thats what the converter box is for. Change the signal so I can run low impedance injectors on the stock computer with the help of HPT Pro with a 3bar SD tune!
I am considering the RPM window switch as one of my better options, it will probably be more cost effective than some others I had in mind. But I am also thinking running a pressure switch off the Map Sensor would be quite easy too. Who knows, I will cross that bridge when I get there.

just admit it your car is weak and slow.why not just fab up a few jet engines for the rear and get it over with.:stickpoke
hell of a car,and expense account you have there.hmmmmmmmm yeah so what if im jealous the first step is addmitting it:)
mabey someday you can bring that pos to cali so i can ride in a REAL FAST CAR.
now get to work i wanna see it finished and i want to see the 5 second track slip..we know thats where your headed.lmao:-patriot:

He uses a FAST computer so it has the outputs to run this. A simple Hobbs switch to the relay ground for that pump would work perfect. That's how the KB Boostapump works. Their switch comes on at 3 psi, but I'm sure there's all different boost switches available.

I will be using a dual relay set up for mine, the second relay will be activated by the KB BAP 3 psi sw.

Lol.....Looks like we found a point where even TRAK cries "uncle"...JK:)
I agree with you TRAK, while I like the weldons quality and performance, there are less expensive ways to accomplish our goals:-patriot: and I also will be going the dual pump route, only using the "booster" when demand calls for it....

Hey Trakday, I don't know you from Adam, but last year I went up to Orlando for Chris White's shift light gig and all I heard about at lunch was jokes about your fuel system. If you have a genuine concern send the guy a PM! Use of the SEARCH button would have delivered what you are asking for. And the whole point of this thread is to evolve into a good "DISCUSSION" on the matter :judge:

Thanks I thought you were running High impedance injectors.
Also the feed out of the MAP should be easy, I'll look at the schematics if you need me to. We used this on a Mazda to spray water/meth on the intercooler at around 1.6 bar.
The pressure tap in the intake tube would also be easy.

Fuel pump: I seem to recall a while back telling you that pump wouldn't cut it...not to rub it in, though. I have had to learn a bunch lately to sort out fueling needs for my mustang project. Blow through is weird...normal low pressure carb stuff, except it's boost referenced so it gets a +12psi or whatever as the boost rises. Anyway I don't want to get in the same position, so I'm going a bit more than probably needed w/ a big 'ole magnafuel.
I agree w/ Jody. You can get a cheap Hobbs-type pressure activated switch. Lift the relay ground and route it through that switch. Just make sure you've got plenty of wire [= large gauge] going back there. I don't recall what you ran.
Also curious about the low rpm operation of the big injectors. That has been an issue for some folks, but given the sophistication of electronics these days, I would hope you could dial in the metering accurately enough. I sure won't have that kind of accuracy in my Mustang...but it's a 40 y/o car. 10mpg and ratty idle = par for the course!
And I like exclamation points too!!! If I were to offer a critique of your writing, it would be for the frequent [and needless] "teh" which is a bit too forced. Many years ago, when the internet was a baby, it was an accident. Now it's "style"...
