**PICS**...Sigh...chrome 19" drift R's....should I do it?

Been thinking about this all week....I really like the drift R's...but I'm not a big fan of the magnesium finish. I am highly considering paying the extra $ to get them chromed...but at $700 extra....it kills me to spend that much more...
what do you guys think of them?

I would think absolutely minimal...its just a covering...maybe a quarter of a pound?

chome shouldn't add any weight that's relevant




they look almost like plastic in chrome, but then again, I think that about most chrome wheels, almost cheapens them IMO

I hear ya...if the damn things came bright silver regularly with a polished lip we wouldn't have this problem...I can pay extra to have them PAINTED bright silver...but that just seems ridiculous for me to pay to have them be like every other wheel

Honestly, I dont think those drift R's are worth it. A lot of people run them and 2500 is close to what i spent on my custom wheels and tires.

it's actually a pretty chill spot if you give it a chance...i went there undergrad and hated it for the 1st 2 years....then once i really met people and enjoyed myself...the last 2 years were awesome...some of the bars out there were sick, although I hear the best one was recently shut down so I haven't gone out on too many thursday nights in a while.

If you're going to a party that should be cool...but don't expect the bars/clubs to be jumpin on a friday...for some reason they were DEAD whenever I went...but thursdays u literally could not stand still it was so packed.

Yea its dead on the weekends since most kids go home but I think since its close to the end of the semester, more kids stay out there. Thursday nights is the party night. My buddy is having the party in his apartment out there so it should be pretty chill.
