Well....

That all depends on your offset. What offset do you plan on running?

Ok, I’ve done some homework AND some financial planning (IE talking with my wife) and have decided to go with a more cost efficient option. How about these in the stock 17x8 config:

For FAR less than the AZA I might be able to pick up a set of these rather soon. I know and understand that these wheels will fit perfectly on my car and I need a 5-120 bolt pattern BUT what offset will I need? In a 17x8 these wheels come in a 20 or 40 offset.

Can anyone explain to me the difference in these offsets and which one I need to go with?

Nice choice. I think these are the sweetest rims for the Goat. You will need the 40 offset....

Real noob question here, but when you say 40 offset, what does that mean?

Correct size for 17" aftermarket wheels is 17x8 with a +40mm offset. Means the mouting surface, from the center of the rim, is 40mm toward the outside of the car.

why only 17s? These wheels look better the bigger they get!

40mm is the correct offset for an 8" rim, and offset is like sknobs said

Basically, It's a $$ issue. If I go larger than stock size, I have to buy new tires as well, this will over double the cost. Right now (or at least soon) I can hack $675. $1300 I can't get for some time, at least a year or so.

I also don't want to bother with wheel rubbing which seems to be an issue for many....I do like yours in 19" though.

Yeah, those 19s look nice. I just wanted a larger side wall for the sucka$$ roads around here. I went with a 17 front 18 rear setup, should look sweet:turbonaug
