18s vs 19s

I see some people are going for 18s staggered over 19s. How come.. I though 19 was the way to go on the GTO....

some people like that happy median between 17 and 19. Though steering response and firmness increases, You do lose a bit of straight line traction with a lower profile tire. Not to mention with more meat on the tire, there is less risk to damaging the rim. Personally, I love the way 19s look, and my next set will be 19s since it really sets the car off.

I went with both; 18" up front and 19" out back. I'll have pics when I get the car back.

18" tires are more readily available and there is more variety to choose from. I think I will be going with 19's cause I have the 18" stockers already.
