I have noticed lately that the 04 stock tires suck really bad. When going around a turn, if I press the gas even slightly, the rear end will kick out.
What would be a decent tire that improves the overall handling and acceleration- while maintaining all season tread. I live in Chicago and need a tire that can get me around in the snow- I also don't want to spend a butt-load.
Thanks in advance.

How many miles do you have on them? If you've got an 04 on stock tires that is driven often, you probably just need new tires period. Unless that's what you're saying, then just disregard this entire post as it wasn't helpful either way.

that's the problem, there is no such thing as a good handling all-season tire. All-season's are a compromise. they excel neither at dry nor snow for that matter. The KDWS are actually one of the better all season tires. The best thing to do is get a dedicated set of summer and snow rims.

I usually refer to all-season tires as NO-season tires

get some dedicated snow tires, hell my Dunlop Winter Sport M3s handled better than the stock KDWS

Save up for some 19s with summer tires and swap em out
