Need a definite answer from ASA AR1 owners!

My mother wants to put a set of black AR1s on her Torrid Red '04 (as you might imagine, I suggested this ;)).

Tire rack seems to be about the only place to get them but they of course claim that they don't fit and as such, said that they will NOT take them back once she buys em.

I've seen AR1s on a couple goats on here....

bottom line....will a 17x8 with the +40mm offset fit all around with no rubbing issues (stock tires for the time being)?

I know she'll need hubrings (does tire rack supply a set?) and probably lug nuts.

I just need a NO BS answer that they will physically bolt up to the car and not rub the fenders.

I ran 18x8s with 42mm without a problem - but my fenders were already cut.

If the car is stock height, then I don't see a problem, as the only difference is that the AR1s are further outboard by 8mm. If the car is lowered, they will rub.
