I have aset of the profils with silver center on my T/A. I would never buy those rims again. the machined lip scratches way to easy and shows from a mile away.

LOL... Those look like Drift R's with rivets... Drift R's being THE most common aftermarket rim here.
Not blazing any trails with that selection! :stickpoke

I like them and considered both. Went with the Thruxtons because of the
9.5 rear size. I Wouldnt worry about the fact that alot of people run the Thruxtons, even if every GTO in my city had them i still would never run into any of them unless it was a GTO meet.

I'm happy with my black Profils. Get compliments on them all the time, and never seen anyone in Chicago with another set. Haven't had any problems with the lips scratching (it's clearcoated, so no need to polish them either), but I don't run them from December through March.
I'm running 18x8.5 w/ 40mm offset, and 245/40/18 Falken 512 tires with out modifying the fenders. No rubbing, even when towing my Jetski. I know others with the same size wheels but different tires have had to roll/trim the fenders, but it may either be the differences in the tires, or the car itself.
