thanks to Hatzi and carby67 from ls1.com.au. Visit http://www.ls1.com.au/forum/showthread.php?t=53327&page=13 for full discussion.
Why should you care? Because VE = Zeta = important GM platform = beat the Toyota et al. onslaught.

The fourth image down shows the huge stock mags used by the new commodore, compared with the camry. Theres been talk that Holden's normal V8 will have 19-20s and HSV's (no mules ATM) will have 20-21s sized mags.
Brakes on all Holdens and HSV's will also be vastly superior.
For some reason this image (below) reminds me of chevs. Also notice the angel eyes like those on BMW's.

looks small for a v8, at least the bra distracts people from looking at it and there is nothing else (such as a paint job) that attracts attention.

Have to say that pic ^^^ looks stupid, it's a blatant chop of a saturn aura, wouldn't be suprised if it's way off. I say try again. glasshouse, headlights and rear angle just looks wrong.

yeah that artists impression is lame, because that's a Saturn Aura with a nose job, not a RWD Holden. Sometimes the media must think we are idiots.

As for the LHD version it looks like the Statesman juding by the rims which is supposed to be the new Buick Invicta here so we'll see at least one Holden here.

That photo looks like a sedan version of the Holden/Vauxhall/Opel Astra...

Because it's basically an Opel Vectra, it's the Astra's bigger sister.

There are turn signals in the side-view mirrors... they are covered with electrical tape.

The new VE sedan is not based on a Opel architecture; it is the first all-Holden platform. That it may look like the Saturn sedan is only because they were both GM cars designed in about the same timeframe.

These new VE cars are only for the local (Aussie) market. Any cars based off the VE/Zeta will look different, including the Camaro.
