has anyone run the yokohama ao32r h compoud as a daily driver and on the track on occasions? im thinkikng about getting a set but im wondering how long the h-compund will last as a daily driven tire. i only put about 150-200 miles a week on the car and i drive it kinda hard when i do. i still have the stock tires on it and they have 10,000 miles on them and they are getting pretty low on tread. if anyone has some experiance with these tires let me know what you thought of them.

They are a track tire. With a 50 or less tread wear they will not last long on the street. The Falken RT-615 is a better choice. It has the same stick with a 200 tread wear..

Yeah, those tires are strictly track and autocross tires. I have a slightly used set of four 032 "H" compounds that I used last year for SCCA autocrosses, and they work great for that, but driving to and from the events showed me how noisy and hard they are as daily drivers. I've switched to Kumho V710s for this season only because I have more competition in "F" Stock this year; by the way, I won the "F" Stock title last year using the 032 "H" compound tires. Come on out to the next Texas Region SCCA autocross on June 18th at TMS; see details at www.autocross.com/texasregion.
