So I am wanting to go with the 18x8 fronts and the 18x9.5's in the rear with the 245/40/18(40 offset) in front and the 275/35/18(45 offset) in the rear. I am considering a few different tires thus far

Toyo T1R
BFG KDW TA
Kumho Ecsta MX

I guess my question is this first off how many people that read this rolled thier fenders and it still was not enough in the rear? And second is there any opinions on these tires? I have read the Toyos might be a little wider so to speak and am thinking there might be more chances of rubbing but now sure if that to be correct.

Thought and insights welcome

I think you'll actually have less of a problem with toyos. Their "shoulder" is a little more rounded. I have toyo t1r's on 19" rims and i have no rubbing, 275's in the rear. But I do have drag bags. I'm sure that helps. Another one of our "herd" has the 18" ROH Drift R's with Toyos, 245/275 and he has no rubbing issues either.

Pilot Sports here. No rubbing. Very similar design with rounded shoulders as Toyos.

The Toyos are going to give you the most clearance.

thanks all for the input. I am just trying to decide on a wheel... Thruxton or Drift R.. I have read with the Drift the rolling might not even be nessessary
