What happens if it starts raining? Does Gran Am race in the rain like F1 or do they have a rain delay?

I would like to know too. I cannot cancel my reservations at the hotel now. I hope this goes well.

They run in the rain, unlike Nascar they run rain tires. You know like real men!
Real men race in the rain too :D

I read in another post of the event last weekend at the Glen, that the person experienced basically all of the weather possibilities other than snow.
I wasn't kidding when I posted and said bring an umbrella either for rain or beating Sun! Pants, shorts, the whole 9 yards. Could be windy and stormy also.
