Yup, and apparently I am the only GTO driver in HISTORY that loves the 235's.

That's the way the Holden versions all come 18" with 235's standard. No 17" rims on the coupes.

Some HSV's come with 19" rims also, I believe they are 235 tires also...

I just spent the last 5 days covering 1400 miles of EMPTY roads everything from miles upon miles of hair pins and off camber turns to mile long straights. I was amazed at how much I liked the stock tires. I'll change to a 245 when these wear out and some different tires, but I was more then happy :)

Unfortunately, you won't be able to go bigger than 235 up front or you will encounter significant strut rub.

I like mine ok. The wet weather traction is fine, but they can be dicey in the wet. Also, I hope you don't get a flat, cause they are around $275 a piece. There are lots of tires I like better for less.

I bet you I won't run into problems going to a 245 :)

As long as the alignment is correct, you shouldnt have any rubbing.

I currently have the 17's with the 245 series tire but I am buying the factory 18's and putting 245/40/18 inch rubber on them. The specs are so friggen close I don't see why it would rub if my 17" setup is not rubbing right now.
