Just returned home from the Glen. They didn't finish 1 and 2, but hey they still kicked some serious ass. Those cars are so nasty sounding in person. If only the cops understood my addiction to that sound.

I just got back from the Glen as well, GTO is the best sounding car on the track in the GT series. By Far!!! Got to poke my head around at the GTO.R this morning after their practice run. Sweet looking ride. The LS2 in the GTO.R is stock!! I talked to the crew cheif and he says they have to restrict the intake. He also said the car weighs just about 3,000lbs and the rest of the other teams are always bitching and moaning about the GTO.R and they have made them add weight to the car. The #72 Porsche was running very well today at the track. I checked out the GTO pace car, it had a nice AP Racing brake kit on it and a Corsa exhaust, other than that it looked totally stock of course cept for the lighting gear. I saw two GTO's out in the parking area. A black one from Ohio, and a silver one i think from NY. Anyways it was very cool to be at an event where the GTO gets a lot of attention.

I was watching the last 20 min from the second level of a bar ... looking down onto the big screen behind the bar, around some railings and a chair. I watched hours 3-5 on tv tho (DP nation pretty much) but I taped it at home. I'm in Iowa for the Ames GTO show.

I got back at my house at like 1:30AM last night so I was too tired to post but I had a blast. The GTO.R's were definitely the best sounding cars out there. And I too was suprised that they only run basically stock LS2's, in fact they have only 393HP and 410Lbs./Ft. of torque but weigh in at 2,700lbs.

guess they did change the results after awhile. @ ~9:00 they had the 64 GTO.R team taking the 3rd place, They were up on the podium and everything...

Was at the winners circle personally... they did say it was close and were waiting for a decision and then they said Pontiac...

What was the race before watkins glen? They took 1,2 there. I have it saved on my DVR but i am not sure of the track.

The GTO.R got third. I was in victory lane when they where celibrating. The trip was really long for me. 7 hours one way. Worth every moment. Had a blast. Po0ntica themselves wants my video of my ride in the pace car. Not the ones you guys were in. I was in the car during the pace laps just before the race. The only guy that able to do that. Friking awsome man.

Paul Edwards and Kelly Collins finished third in the No. 64 TRG/iRise Pontiac GTO.R, their seventh-straight top-four class finishes, and extends TRG's streak of GT podium finishes to 14 races, dating back to the CompUSA 200 at The Glen last August. Edwards and teammate Lally were fourth and fifth, respectively, in the running order on the final lap when third-place-running David Murry hit a puddle that allowed both Edwards and Lally to pass. Murry and his No. 80 Shoes for Crews/Synergy Racing Porsche GT3 co-driver Leh Keen wound up fifth.

Didn't hear his story, my brother-in-law and I walked through there no problem during the race, i also got a vid of the GTO.R finishing up his pit stop
