Raced a Brand New M3 (2005)

I lost this one...DAMN IT. He came up behind me as I was coming home from work today -- a nice silver M3 w/ no tags (just dealer ad where the plates should be -- still brand new; like my goat!). He got the jump on me (I didn't see him coming) so I downshift to 3rd and floor it. We're neck & neck about 10 seconds then he starts to pull...it wasn't until I got to the top of the hill that I realized that I left the traction control on!! AAAARRGGGHH!! I probably would have been right with him if I would've left it on. DAMN! He still gave me the thumbs-up though! I fired up the tires on the next turn and waved goodbye. Good sport but I know I could have done better!

Good one! RedThunder, these last few posts should be in the "Kill" section. Roa racing is GTOs on the road race track unlike a dragstrip!

you're right. Yellow -- can you move these threads? I put them in road-racing because I really didn't "kill" the opponents...I was saving that section for when I blow the doors of someone. I see your point though and I will post in the "kills" seciton from now on.

I had a brand new one try to give me a run in the truck the other day. I expected him to eventually pull away from me, but we ran all the way up to 100 and he was still about a car behind me, if we would have gone from a dead stop it would have been a lot worse for him. . .

Im sure if we would have kept going he would have pulled on me, but we were already pushing 100, and thats good enough for me since i know thats over 1/4 mile
