17x8.5 on front??

does anyone know if this will work? i tried out of curiousity to mount my 17x9 w/ 275/40 up front and they mounted all the way but the tire was on the coil-over. i have pics that i will post later.

Hmmm, can't say I've seen a 17x8.5.....18x8.5 yes....but no 17's.
