This may be the jump start the GTO program needs to ensure longevity.

I'm glad they are getting more involved in racing. I was watching SPEED channel this weekend and watched Mustangs take 1-2 at Daytona in GT class? I believe

I was asking myself "where's the GTO's?"

That is the kind of press GM needs. WINS !!!!!

Exactly. Let the GTO go out and race. Bob Luts said: "The GTO was born to race; and, race it will". That's exactly what we need. First race them two GTO's come out to I'm flying there to watch them race. No Speed Chan. for me. I want to see the real thing.

I'm going to The Glen in June to watch this series race there, hopefully the GTO will be there -- al least for testing if not actually racing. :)

After the GTO race car is developed to GM's tastes, says Doug Duchardt, GM's racing director, the company plans to sell it to racing teams.

I wonder how much GM will sell the GTO factory race car for?
