I havn't been reading as much on the forum lately and was just wondering why I can't find anywhere to buy the Drift R's anymore? I am going to be purchasing some new wheels sometime this winter and that is the wheel I want. Have they discontinued them again for awhile or something?

I have a buddy that lives in Franklin. Trying to make it in the music business.

I visit there often, if I see a red GTO I will honk and wave.

If you get them from Group A make sure they are balanced correctly. Mine were bad. Had to have them rebalanced. The place I got them said they were so bad that they must have just slapped some weights on them randomly.

That's funny. I recently received a set of Drift R's from Group A and they vibrate pretty badly at about 55 mph and up. I need to get them rebalanced I guess. Pain in the ass.

Some settling occurs during shipping, at least that's what my boxes of cereal always state.

These must have sold out fast...I spoke with them on the 14th and I was told there was no 18x9 in stock and they would not be in for another 45+ days.

When I inquired about 19" magnesium, they said the same thing. 45+ days. I didn't want to wait, so I went a different route with my wheels. This was in like early-mid May of this year.
