Just wondering if anyone has em mounted on their car. Wanna see pics... thinking 15x8's and 15x9 or 10 in the back might look sweet.

as soon as i get my tires, i'll be trying out my Weld Pro Star 15x8's with 5.5" backspacing. i'm going to have to scale down to 235/60/15 drag radials though (currently i've got 26x10 ET drags on them for my T/A).

Anyone know for sure if i can get them to work with the 235 tires without modification? i searched but couldn't get a straightforward answer for an '05 GTO.

here's a pic of the wheels on my T/A, i'm pretty sure you're talking about these:

They should clear. even better with rolling/cutting if you down for it. I have 19*9.5 with 7 inch bs(2.5 in front of the hub) with your 15*8 with 5.5bs you also have 2.5 in front of the hub/axle.

And finally...the result of a few beers. This pic pissed some of the mods off...but it was funny so here it is.

They were standard 3.5 inch frontrunners and 15x8 with 5.5 inch backspacing in rear. The rears didn't work out, and you would have to go to a smaller tire than 275/50. If you want to run any more tire, you need 15x10 with the 7.5 inch backspacing. I did the math a while back and you may need a small spacer to bring the rim back out...but can't remember for sure. All this is good for the only year worth owning...04. All bets are off with the larger brakes of the 05/06 cars.

Oh yea, if you are worried about the bolt circle difference...then drop the coin and go Bogart. They really are an awesome rim, but I liked to drive my car on the street and have heard too many stories about them cracking.
