Just to start, I have been through every FAQ and thread....

I have taken the car to the roadrace track a few times and have shared video with some of you.....at that time I drove the stock wheels/tires there and home, so I was somewhat conservative.

Now that I managed to buy another stock set of wheels, I want to mount a set of Hoosiers or Kumho on the 8" rims for use only at the track.

I don't think the 275's will work for a twisty road course, any other sizes, or tire brand I should look at. I will probably get them heat cycled and I am not interested in shaving them myself.

If you haven't seen my last video, PM me and I will email it to you.

Try some 255/40 Kumhos, thats the size I used on my Evo VIII for autocross/open track. It fits nice on 8" rims and gives a slight torque advantage to a slightly smaller diameter.

Would the Eibach lowered springs cause anyissues if I ise 255 size tires on the stock rims?

The 255/40-17 V700 Victoracers are good tires for road racing. The Yokohama A032 is an awesome tire too... For the price diff. Kumho V700 is the way to go...

How low will you go??? I think if you get a lot of body roll, they may rub, not a enough that a little fender rolling can't handle. Its only about a 1/4 wider so it shouldn't be a problem.
