Hey guys, just dropped in to post the coupe pic...and its already here. Nice! Glad most of you like it.

nice find m8 looks very nice. Did they say what they had done to the photo chop. i.e. changed roofline etc.

- roofline lowered, although not too much, maybe 1-2 inch
- front door extended, rear doors deleted
- stretched out the c-pillar and rear window a little, resulted in slightly shorter boot lid
- lowered, bigger wheels
- tailights are half Calais and half SS-V
- made the windows pillarless

Yeah I did that based on some "intelligence" I acquired about 3 years ago, before the MotorTrend sketches or any VE spy shots etc were even seen.

+1 It's the roof line/trunk that's wrecking it for me. Roof is too curved, almost like a turtle. Trunk's too short, makes the car come to an abrupt, stubby end.

The lines don't match the Monaro style IMO. I'd have to see the final model before I decided to buy it.

The VE GTO looked very much like that photoshop, but even better, as there were horizontal feature lines that really pulled the look together. But that was a couple of years ago and I'm sure much has changed since then.

The VE looks great for a 4 door...wouldn't mind seeing the 2 door version.
As you can see, the lines are very similar with the MT GTO drawing and the new VE.
