That has to be rubbing in the front and the back???? Are those the Axis Milanos? I thought they were 19x8.5??

I know 100% that the backs will rub as that is the same setup used on PFYC's SEMA car and they had to do a good deal of modding back there to get rid of the rubbing (more than just rolling the fender lip, but it is possible).

Also, the front doesn't look right to me, dunno what it is, looks like the wheels actually stick out beyond the wheel well?

indeed, they are by axis...but check out the lip, it is 3.5 inches or the 9.5 width with a 45mm offset. the rear fenders had to be modified, but now do not rub at all. the fronts, for today are spaced 5mm out. tomorrow the tires will be changed to 245 width to eliminate the need for a spacer, or the strut system will be modified to accept the 275's. our shop specializes in hi po wheel and tire packages. oh...no rolling on the rears, the fenders were modded tastefully to accept the rear tire/wheel.

how did you modify the rear to accept the tires?

Looks awesome! Geez, if these had been standard maybe a few more GTOs may have been sold.....?

VERY NICE!

How about more pics from the front and back.

How much fender rolling did you do?

Be sure to check the inner wheel wells on the front tires as well as the shocks. With a front tire that size, you are going to be losing some material from either your tires or wheel wells. They look good though.

Tastefully modded? Um, what exactly does that mean? Is rolling not considered "tasteful"? The only other thing I can think of that was done was that the fender lip was actually cut off?

wtggto, when you say 'our shop', do you mean where you work? I'll looking at getting something similar done locally. Where did you get those from? And if you don't mind, what was cost.

Thanks. :p

How do I tastefully mod my rear fenders to accept 295 19" tires? I rolled my lips and barely squeeze in 275 rubber.

A bit wide for my taste, but looks good. Stay away from pot holes!

That is a very clean, not overwought wheel style.
Almost a AMG look.
Probably some of the best I have seen on the GTO.

I think some of the posters have valid questions though.
8" wheels in front look nice. Anything over that sticks out past the front lip.
I would like to see that style wheel in a 8" width in front and a 8.5" or 9" at the rear.
I would also like to see it in a 18".
The tires are too wide.

I agree with what this person said. Photo #3 is probably the best picture of an aftermarket wheel on a GTO I've seen. It makes me think of an M3 at first glance (have you thought about taking off your spoiler?).

But after some googling, it seems they don't make those wheels in an 18" size, and I don't think I can deal with 19s on the roads we have here in the land of the Gubernator. :(

Those are the Axis Milano's guys. Gravana has them in 19x8.5. I personally think 19" is a little to big, but it is a great looking wheel nevertheless.

Like I said waaaay at the beginning of this thread...PFYC has the same wheels, Axis Milano, 19x8.5F, 19x9.5R, no rubbing.

Here's a picture:

More pictures of this car here (http://www.pfyc.com/banshee/).

They are a good looking wheel. I have a VERY difficult time deciding between these and the Hiro (basically wheel the same but without the bolt circle). The Hiro has a bit more pronounced angle to the wider wheel's spokes than the Milano does, but this might also be due to the offsets of the particular wheels I've seen (only seen the Hiro on a 350z, no idea how the offsets are on that vehicle).

Not my cup of tea. I don't like the way the tires hang out beyond the fender lips. The car has the perfect look for downtown Detroit though. :gr_jest:
Just my opinion of course.

Very clean! Are they available in 18's? I love the combo of the lip and the 'meaty' 5 spoke look.

That's what I'd put on if I had a GTO. Perfect for the car, but 18 is more my taste. (Plus one!)

Very nice!!!!!!!!!! I don't think I could bear the ride of 19" rubber though. Killer looking though. Probably one of the best looking wheels I've seen on the GTO as well.
