Just got my set of 18's in yesterday to replace the 17's that wouldn't clear the Baer brake caliper. Anyway, took 'em into the shop last night and got a call this morning from the installer. He said these 18's didn't come with any hub rings like the 17's did. Anyone else have this happen? He said they fit pretty snug without the rings so maybe on the 18's they're not required? LMK.........
Thanks,

Thanks.........now I need to find out if these 245's are going to clear all around, rears are fine, fronts have me a little concerned, especially over rough roads.

came with my 18 x 8.5 Beyern 5 chromes either. Discount Tire said they never do hub rings.....that the wheels seem to mount very hubcentric....and that they have never have a problem. After the first couple of days I noticed a lot of steering wheel 'shimmy' (that side-to-side oscillation) at certain speeds and on certain roads (which I never experienced with the stockers at the same speeds on the same roads). Between the additional re-balance, and the alignment check, I have eliminated most, but not all of the issue!
I still have a set of CsiJason's custom hub rings on order however. Want to eliminate all possible variables :-) Seems like a small investment considering the new tires + wheels. BTW, I see appx. 1/8 in. gap between the hub and the surrounding wheel mount.

I think the hub rings are just a good investment. He's out of them now so I don't know when more will become available.

Actually Sean at Top Shelf Performance (one of our vendors at left) has a set of CiJason's hubs for the Beyern 5's available right now.
It is my understanding that they are the new distributer for them.
Good luck.

The Beyerns I bought from Coop 43 came with hubrings. I believe he said they came with them when they bought them. The wheels mount right up without them....and are a pain in the ass to get the lugs started with them on. I'd rather have them on just in case...

He emailed me today and said he was expecting some soon but didn't have any now.
