I thinking of replacing my stock 2006 Generals with Toyo T1-Rs. Any thoughts or opinions would be appreciated!

my friend has them on his s2000 and says they made a world of difference. I vote
I have them. Great side bite and forward bite. Not noisy, wearing as well as you could expect from a hi-po tire with over 400 rwhp/rwtq. All in all, I'm very happy. Quite a bit better overall than the T1-Ss they replaced. Another thumbs-up here

I've got T1-R's on my car now. Best tire I've had on any care of mine yet. Nice and quite and actually hook well. They've also done good in the Florida storms.

BFG KDW's... wear out a little faster, but dry traction is much better, and wet is about the same. For the money, it doesn't get any better than BFG's.
Oh, and I have T1-R's right now... they're alright... yawn.

The Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3's have made my car an entirely different beast. The only drawback is the price. The Toyo tire you're talking about is great for the money but if you have room in your wallet go for the Goodyear tire... it will change your life.

On differing vehicles I have run Pilot Sports, Pirelli Pzero Rossos, T1Ss and now T1R's on the GTO.
Im not completely sold on them as they seem a bit soft in the sidewall although im running the OEM size versus that of upgraded 19" sizes on past vehicles. It is also hard to say how they have reacted since i have such little time in the car since purchase.
They are ok so far, Im just happy that i get a great deal on them.

I have them and like them alot. The look is very good, nice and quiet, good in wet. The car handles much better. Awesome tread design. Two thumbs up here.

I ran 'em for a few thousand miles, not bad, similar to the Goodyear G3D3's which I also ran on, before these. You can do better I think.........

Just put the T1R's on the goat and no complaints. Very quiet, nice handling tire. If they wear well, then they're the next tire I put on the stang too.

I have the Toyo Proxe 4's...they made a huge difference from the stock rubber...well worth the $183 a piece a spent w/ road hazard.

I've had them for about 3 months now and absolutely love them. Great in the rain, super quiet, and are very sticky in dry conditions. Awesome tires for the money.

I love mine. Great grip around the corners and the treadlife is pretty good.

only problem is they don't make the BFGs in 19"s but the Toyos they do!

just adjusted tire pressures today as they were a bit high after being intsalled as i let them be to leak-down. Adjusted back to a 34.5 on all 4 corners and the f/r disconnect is gone now. Im much happier .
