I'm just starting to get serious about wheels and will probably pull the trigger during fall after I get the suspension done. But my second most critical criteria other than looks is weight. If I can shave 10 pounds off per corner, that is HUGE for both performance and handling.
Stocker weight 30-35 lbs. I really like some of the TSW stuff, but I lifted some TSW 18s (different models) and some other forged wheels and the TSWs felt like lead weights. I would assume they are at least 30 lbs/wheel. This is all I have so far.
1. Enkei Racing- 18X8- 20.9 lbs.

Great wheel weight reference (thanks Google): http://www.superhonda.com/tech/wheel_weights.html
I like BBS wheels...light but expensive.
The C5 Z06 wheels are very light also...

That's an awesome website, thanks Yellow. Right into my favorites.

OZ makes some affordable ones that fit. I have the Superleggeras, 17x8, 40mm offset, 17lbs each. Fit great.
TSW rims are also pretty lightweight and fit. My 19x8 (front) 19x9.5 (rear) TSW Thruxtons were less than the stockers. IIRC, they were about 19lbs each.
TSW also has a lot of options.

Thanks Padre, that's the first reliable info I've gotten on TSWs. I must say though they did feel really heavy when I lifted them compared to some of the forged wheels on display. The Thruxtons are nice looking wheels.

Here's more exact info:

Looks like the 19x8 TSW's are about 4 lbs lighter than the stockers (with tires). So 17 and 18 inch wheels should be even lighter.
Personally, I'd go with 18's with TSW's - better ride, and you can fit drag radials if that's your thing.

My best man is selling his SSR Competitions from his 330i. I think they are 18x8 and 18x9, but I'm not sure. I mounted them on my GTO for kicks a few months ago, but his tires were too small to determine much. He's getting the tires removed soon, and I'll post them on the board with pictures and specs when they become available. About the lightest high quality wheel you can find... They have some light curb scraping on some of the lips, so they'll be a substantial price reduction compared to new.

Somebody jump on this. I wish I was closer to Chicago or I'd be taking them right now. SSR are the best reasonably priced wheels there are.
