hey, i just ran into a small problem. how do you remove CSI's hubrings w/o removing the brake rotors? I need to switch between stock and aftermarket wheels a lot (stock has street tires and AM's have road course tires).

Has anyone done this?
Is it difficult?
I used anti-seize at installation, but don't see how to get them off again...

No problem here, but be sure to put anti-seize on. I took off my wheels after about a month and on 3 out of 4 wheels the hub ring was on the wheel not the hub. I do have the tiny TSW stlye, the standard may be a little tougher coming off.
But your much better off with the Al ones like CSI's than a plastic ring. The fit on the plastic is poor, and you may crush it. Now those could be an issue.

I had to remove the calipers and pull off the rotors to force the CSI rings off the hub. Not to user friendly if you're switching wheels regularly.

double bummer.
Considering the price of our billet rings - expensive mistake.
Aren't those OEM 18's? If yes, why do you need them??

Need them for my 19" TSW Thruxtons. That is an old picture in my signature. I had to put the stockers back on while I run drag radials. Expensive mistake, yes....but I need TSW hub rings anyway.

Assuming the rust on the hubs was sanded down and a little anti-seize is used, the rings should slide right off. I've been using the rings on my car since I first made them two years ago and they still slide right on/off.
Odds are, some rust formed under the ring, try a lube for stuck bolts such as PB Blaster or WD40. (I prefer PB Blaster but it is harder to find.) If the ring is removed uneven, it will jam. Try and slide it off evenly even if you have to push it back on a little to un-jam it.

I have CSIJason Rings and I swap between my stock 17's and the 18's that use them...not a problem in a year and a half and 15k on the odometer.
I keep the hubs sanded and greased to help this.
Getting ready to put my 18's on today as a matter of fact!

I dunno what to suggest other than the PB blaster like jason said works great and maybe try turning the rings on the hub after letting the PB soak in for a bit.

my rear rings fit on the hub real tight even after sanding all the rust off. however, i used enough antiseize to save an army from a nuclear bomb, so i just had to give it a little help from a screwdriver and i got it off in under a minute
