ever do any business with Impact Guns?

back when i got my kimber ultra raptor II, i searched the net for the best price for the Galco concealled carry holster i wanted for it. being a south paw, i knew by ordering from anyone but galco direct would mean a little time getting the holster, that and i wanted havanna brown.......

well...i sure didnt expect to wait 77 days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i almost cancelled the order, they sent me the mag carrier right away and put the holster on "back order". sent me 2 emails during the time period saying "your order is now being processed". it got here yesterday after being ordered the first week of june there abouts. i saved major bucks, sure...from not ordering direct.. but still......my God.

just venting.

love it though...i love Galco's work...

i sat them both out in the sun yesterday afternoon with a gob of Zaino z10 leather preservative on them and let them suck it up.......

ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

makes holster break in easier too..... ;)

nice stuff

A little off topic.....

Wolfdogs (or anyone else) have you ever handled or better yet fired any of the Kimber TEN series guns. I ask because last week I rented a TLE target at a range and loved how it shot, actually more amazed that the first round actually hit the spot at which I aimed. But, if the TEN series guns feel and shoot as well...13 rounds of 45acp sounds even better to me.

Funny side note, only a few good groupings from the Kimber on the target, and quite a few single holes....not due to the gun, I was just having fun hitting any point on the paper I wanted.

have not shot them. l'll have to ask a friend of mine at the gym today. he's one of those 'test beds' for the gun mags, ex-fbi "rambo" type.... writes alot of articles for the mags after companies send him thier guns to test.... ill see if he has some comments.

I just picked up a new Kimber last week. Well, its used, but new to me.

The first full sized model I have owned. Its a custom II with night sights.

Im not a fan of the full size 1911 frame but this one was too cheap not to buy.

Beautiful beautiful grips on that Raptor wolfdogs...How was the break-in on that? I hear that Kimbers can be a major b!tch during break in but after a few hundred rounds run great. I'm looking @ 1911s currently, having a hard time deciding.
