That's QUICK! Congratulations. Sweet short time, btw.

I had no idea the C6 was so heavy. All I've read about it suggests about 3200.

3,200 # is estimated for the 1SX with out driver, ours is a fully loaded 1SB, Z51 C6 with the bigger and heavier rotors, nav, xm, heated power lumbar with side impact air bags, 1/2 tank of gas, 170 # driver, etc. 3,500+ race weight.

The C6 has torque management in order to help the drive train components live in case of abuse, but it gets in the way of performance at the track, it actually closes the throttle in some instances. I developed a Torque Management disable module for track use.

Hi Julio,
So the next question is... will your module work with my 2005 GTO? I'm assuming the torque management routines are the same within the PCM? And assuming you'd sell it?

How would that setup run in a GTO? How much for Cam and Heads?

I've wondered about that... I can clearly feel it cut power back even with the T/C disabled but wasnt sure if it was just changing atmospheric conditions or the ECU pulling the throttle back to save on wear, etc.

I wonder how much can be gained by eliminating this 'feature' when at the track in the 05 GTO? Hmm, and with that said, does it pull throttle in only low gears or any gear I wonder?

I'm designing one for the GTO, but it hasn't been tested. In the latest version of LS2-edit, there are some torque management tables, but I haven't tested these tables yet.

One step at a time Optic. We can't decide weather we should go to the Stage 3X H/C, boost, stroker or nitrous. Decisions, decisions.
