Burn out anyone
6 hour trip down to Cecil through NJ traffic.. Let the Goat cool down for 45 min.. They had no water in the burnout box so pushed right through my breaks(might need a linelock).. Melissa treed me but I was pulling back on her until it would not go into third.. My guess is the tranny was to hot because I had no problems later..

First was spining and hoping and then second spun hard too.. Melissa and I both cut much better lights but she still treed me .. her .179 vs my .197

Back to racing.. Last run on Friday.. No video.. Melissa and I did moster burnouts .. The crowd was screeming and we were 20 feet from the cop cars FTW.. We think the cops and fight stoped for a second.. And there has to be a video somewhere out there of it with the 3 thousand spectators.. Anyway.. Melissa got me again

The big day..... DA was +2000.. At one point I seen +2300 on a weather station
I was runing 12.0 index and first run I ran 12.9 at 83 MPH.. Found that problem with 4th gear.. The bumpstop on the back of the GMM backed out.. So I quickly went to work seting that strait in between rounds... Second run 12.012 @ 114 but still spinning out of the hole .. It was like the first 100ft of track didn't like me.. LOL Or the fact that the belts were starting to come through the tires

I spun and didn't go anywhere to a 1.86 60'.. Ran a 12.5 @ 113.. I picked up 25 MPH on the big end but could not gain back any ground on the other guy
Final thought were that the RAM race was real fun.. With good tires and more time on a pro 5 tree I could be conpetitive.. I would need to ditch the cats and run a two step to be consistant on a pro 5 tree.. And I was very happy that I qualifyed 8th out of 79 cars...
