Traction. The Chevelle didn't have it. You could guess what was going to happen as soon as he did his burnout. He just tipped into the throttle and the tires just roasted.

he said he launched at half throttle but when I started getting away, he went into a panic and 100% throttle which sent the right rear tire off the edge of the road so he lifted and said fug it.

Yep, he never really had a chance from a dig. Those are some strong trap from your Evo.

You should bring that evo over to oklahoma. We got some street cars for you to race lol You might want to up your boost to 50-60 psi though lol

But for real that is one badass evo, props for having a awd and actually going from a dig. Most evo's in oklahoma and texas with 30 plus psi wont run from a dig.

You should come to clash of the titans this year.

I heard ya, there's some cars here that are way faster than me on the street but they are drug dealers and gang bangers, I don't hang out with them, just seen them race quite a bit. They can make anything hook. Lucky for me it's amatuer hour with most of the RWD 8 second cars in my group, they can't get it through their thick heads that even though they trap 155+mph at the track, it's not enough to catch me if I put 10 cars on them by the 1/8th lol.

that's odd hearing about AWD guys there and texas that won't go from a dig...that's the whole point of that setup

Right now I only have the buschur shootout in ohio on the schedule later this year. Truly I'm not much on traveling to race when I have a nice track 30 minutes away.

God, how do you deal with the heat generated by 40 psi? Meth? Nitrous?

an efficient turbo with larger turbine side to keep heat from reversing back into the head, a large FMIC to cool the charged air, short piping with few bends, ported intake mani, ported throttle body to reduce restrictions/heat, Q16 race fuel to prevent detonation due to the pressure/heat.

I suspect I could let it zing on up to 50psi but my current boost controller will not go that high.
