Designed by a Brit, built in Australia, and powered by an American V8, it was the most successful coming together of the English speaking world since 1942, when America finally decided to join in the Second World War.

Leghumping is a great way to make yourself ridiculously unappealing. Think about that next time a girl posts.
Well in Waterbury they are.. back in Woodbury literally I've seen one.. maybe two? Everyone either drives a SUV/Truck, or a Audi or a Saab... almost nothing else. Porches are a time a dozen too..
Ok, this might be a stupid question, but the forum search and Google aren't being helpful. Is there a website for G.O.N.E. ? Is there a formal "joining" process? Where can you get the sticker?

This is the website for gone. The only "joining" process is that you live in the NE and have/had/want/etc an 04-06 GTO. BigRedGoat sells the stickers, shoot him a PM...may take him a while to get back to ya.

hahahahaha hell yeah! I started it on Sunday (first time its been started since August!) Al says the clutch doesnt feel right...... but it feels GREAT to me Actually kinda feels like your LS7! I wanted to take it out right then and there! lol I told him that he probably doesnt remember how its supposed to feel... i mean its almost been an entire year!! I have no idea how he can do that..... wacko. lol
Good thing I was at the mall tonight................. lol
I pick it up on Saturday morning. They are replacing a stretched AC belt that whines, a gascap-door thing cause it wont lock closed, and fixing the back seats.. the seams on the leather for both rear seats came apart and they're gonna fix 'em up. There's also a small dent on the hood they're going to pop, looks like someone sat on it lol. Other than that the car is IMACULATE.. not a single scratch or anything. The chrome door stills still have the plastic on them!! Impresive for a 2005, you'd think it was BRAND NEW, not even used. It was definally babied and kept in a garage all winter and driven carefully.. handled fine, nothing worn at all.
I took it for a test drive around Route 9 in Paughkipsee. So much easier than my Dad's Trans Am... lighter clutch, and the shorthrow vs. his longthrow makes it so easy. My Dad took it for a spin after me since I'm still a newb when it comes to stick and he did some neck snapping with it lol.
It has 37,000mi but it's GM Certified, one owner... and i get 12,000mi/12mo warrenty, i might extended it when I pick it up Saturday with GMPP. My Dad completely changed his mind around.. he loved this one... I also had the payoff $1725 in my checking and I paid the dealer as my down so it paid off the payoff basically.. but payments still came up high around $260. i wanted $250... so apparently my Dad liked it so much he dropped $1,900 on the table so my total financed would be $11,000 even!!! I was amazed. After what he did the last time... this was a complete turn around.. he says he wanted to help with it but I'm paying him it back before summer's end whether he likes it or not. My payments are gonna be $220-$230 now. They're still doing the final financing papers, I get the exact ammount tomorrow. I got $7,700 for my G6.. I was expecting $8,000, but close enough. Initially they wanted $7,000 but we said up it, and they came back with $700 more! wOOt!
Anyhoo I now got my dream car =D Or at least.. Saturday I get it. I drove the G6 back and I'm EXSTATIC.
Shots!!
(Note the nice pretty orange SOLD stick in the dash hehe)
(What's funny is there's a Stealth Grey Metallic G6 in the background.. but its not mine lol. They only made SGM for 2005 and 2006 model year, and that there was a V6 or a 2.4L I think..since I believe it has 16" from the picture..)
Definally! I don't think anything could keep me from the meets you guys do up there hehe. After the car show i've been waiting for another!
I plan on keeping it stock for a while while I get used to stick and all the power.. don't want to kill it or go sideways into a pole ripping out of a parking lot hehe.
I need to get a skip shift eliminator though ASAP... I was driving around on the test drive and turning left onto Route 9 in NY, and I was rolling like.. about 10mph or less in 1st cause there was traffic in front of my taking the turn.. went to go to second only to find I couldn't get it into 2nd and had to go to fourth... I find it dangerouse actually..
Chris is gonna tune it out for me once I get a tune, but I gotta wait till I get used to this ammount of power before I tune, so I gotta get a skip shift eliminator... where'd you guys get yours, if you didn't just tune it out? SLP has them listed... but they're JET and i've heard bad stuff about JET...
**EDIT** Just ordered the SLP one =D

looks good man looks like that dent will come right out.
Be careful with it though, you should take it to an empty lot and see what it feels like to lose control, be sideways, what happens when you hit the brakes sideways etc etc.....and then do that in the rain.
You just need longtubes, electric cutouts, a cam, and some 06 tails IMO

haha
lol. It's gonna stay mostly stock at least until I get used to it. Around late summer, fall I'm planning on Corsa Sport Catback, and intake and tune. Its gotta stay quitish cause its a daily driver.
I plan on having some fun with it Sunday Theres tons of lots around here...hehe
Driving back to Hudson P B GMC in Poughkeepsie to pick it up for good...... they open 9:00am... I'll be waiting there at their door till they open lol. Leaving here like 7:45am or so.
So tomorrow I pick it up, and if I can get back in town before noon, I'm going right to the dealership in town, they'll throw it up on a lift and put it on for me for free right away. SLP shipped it in this like 10"x8"x5" box... for a piece that could have fit in a big bubble envelope lol.
