could be much sicker if you threw one of those "custom" TT kits on it though....

Congrats on a nice ebay find. I guess BOM will be a winning color again at the GM nationals.

I will be posting video here of my daughters first steps, it looks like the correct place to post.

Ok, seriously now, when's the next PA State Trooper exam dammit??!?! BTW, shot in the dark, but the name Trotta. Ring a bell? Went to school with him ... father was in the force for 30 yrs or so and he was looking to make it as well. Dropped off the face of the Earth tho ...

That being said, looking great. You teach yourself how to tinker with this stuff?

That name doesn't sound familiar.

If I don't know how to do something I read, learn and buy the tools to do it myself.

I refuse to pay anyone to work on my cars.

Yea, didn't think so ... it'd be kinda neat if you did. His stories had me on the ground rolling. Kid was a nut himself.

Where is this elusive 18mm/ 3/4 wrench you speak of? My poor Asian eyesight is failing me yet again.

While working on my car the other day I hit myself in the face with a 18mm wrench.

This required my wife to call EMS. A trip to the hospital for X-Rays, Tests and some Stitches.

I am now sporting a nice black eye.

Been there ... whoever torques down the caliper bolts for GM trucks needs to be shot in the face. Even with an impact gun (with a hefty amount of torque) ... things don't budge. Finally got out a 28" breaker bar, had to get angry to get the thing off ... finally snapped free and wound up splitting my forehead with the end of the bar.

I'm not your average boy scout ... trust me, using a 3/8 on that sucker would have resulted in a broken ratchet or a lot of time wasted. It is NOT the same as the GTO. The GTO I got off fine with a standard 18mm wrench, not a prob. The past two rotor jobs (rear) I've done on a Trailblazer and Escalade ... no fuggin' idea who put them on, but my God ...
