This would make a nice Z-28 with about 200 lbs taken out of it.
Or throw a 4.8L crankshaft in a 6.0L or 6.2L block with LS3/L92 cylinder heads and end up with a 5.35L 328 c.i. or 5.5L 339 c.i. high reving engine. Personally I'd go with the 5.35L for cylinder wall thickness and add two GT32RS dual (variable vane) turbos to that with boost from the factory set at 8-10 lbs, and you'll have an engine with instant torque! Also have pretty decent mileage when cruising the highway and around town. That's what the Z-28 engine should be in my opinion. Hell, make it with VVT, AFM, and definitely D.I.
PLEASE.
They have already given the engine designation. Forgot what it is. But you engine guys already know what it is already I am sure.
There will be some additional cool things with the Z28 besides engine and tires as well.
