Callaway CAI, Fasterproms Ported TB and stg 1 manifold, STOCK EXH manifolds, B&B Fusion catback, Fasterproms custom tune.
Run 1 was a baseline pull with all aforementioned mods, fully optimized.
Run 6 was Stg 2 manifold and a tuning tweak, more fuel.

We were pleased to get this kind of power in weather in 90F + air temps.

Bottom line: Stage 2 over Stage 1 picked up 6 rwhp and 9 rwtq through out the rev range, and 10 and 10 in some areas.

Jeremy Formato

Those are good gains, especially seeing it made more power while being richer. out of curiosity, why did you richen it up? i would think it would show even more gains if both were at the same 12.5 AFR

I assume timing was consistant between the two runs?

Jeremy has been up in PA and away from the computer, but will chime in when he gets back, as to why this Z06 wanted it richer.

Thanks

Received my stage 2 intake today and installed it. It looks great and the car feels better. I haven't really gotten on it since I just put new valvesprings in and am breaking them in. You can definitely hear the intake resonance sound a lot more, I like it! I will report back when I have the springs broken in.

I shipped it to them last Wednesday and they had it back to me today. That is from NJ to FL UPS ground.

I've been working on my intake manifold for about 18 hours right now (by hand with sandpaper), and I'm sure I can't get in as deep into the runners (and I haven't been able to clean the bottom of the port as well), and I have 3 more runners to go as well as the smoothing that I'll have to do afterwards (which = about 6 more hours).

There is also no way I can clean up the inside like their pics show and the TB section would take way to long to do the job as well as their pictures show.

If I had to do it over again I would send it out rather than do it myself......I must have missed this post before I started on mine.

Those pics, if they are a good representation of the work, are far better than many self-ported intakes I've seen on the web.

Not a bad price for 15-20 hp that would be further improved by previous or future headwork.

It is a good representation, that's what mine looked like when I received it today.

They really have to look like that to perform correctly, and it is a very extensive process done in stages.

Here is a LS3 2010 SS M6 that picked up 30 rwhp and 22 rwtq on a stage 1 intake/tb and tune done this week:

Runs 1,2,6 are the 5th gen Camaro base pull , base tune, and then stage 1 intake porting and TB porting and final tune.

Mods: Kooks LT Headers, SLP Axle Back, LMR CAI

Take a look at this video, especially around the 5min mark, sounds like you have a way to go. I was going to do it myself to and decided to let them do it, they've got the tools and the experience. Can't wait to get it back and put it to the test.

Dang, we had you port our stock LS2 TB/manifold in September and you didn't offer the stage 2 at the time! Could you take ours and port it further or something like that?

Shoot me a PM with name and info. We introduced the stage 2 the 1st week of September, and are still offering an upgrade to those who just missed it.

Thanks

To upgrade from a LS2 Portworks would be $225.00. It should be a gain of at least 6-10 hp.

Somehow I doubt that. But it's not the first time the claims have been inflated and not really proven. Funny how people step up when they think you're gone

Sorry no dis respect intended, as that is difference between our own very aggressively ported (more so than normal as it was on our own GTO) stage 1 intake. For that instance we saw in less than ideal conditions 6-7 rwhp gain, proven by swapping the intakes while the car is still hot and on the dyno. I have seen your work and it is very good. The additional cost to upgrade from any other porters work is the $225.00, as we did not charge for the original work in the 1st place.

Thanks

Dan
