I did some very through testing tonight. 12 psi through all gears but high. 100% DC on injectors. At no point does the inlet pressure of the 044 go below 35 psi. This darn pump is taking that 35 psi and raising it to 50. That sucks, or blows. Or doesn't suck and blow. Hahaha. Gonna try to return it.

To anyone buying bosch, others have tested them and shown they are stronger than the walbro. I think my supplier has a bunch of rejects. Beware. With the walbro half the price.....why risk it. Buy 2 walbros. Jmo

I'm having a little difficulty picturing exactly how you've got all this hooked up. Could you sketch a schematic and scan it?

From what you've described it sounds like you have an in-tank Walbro using the internal regulator in the bucket, feeding the Bosch pump then on to the fuel rails with no additional regulator or return line?

OP, FYI I have 550 RWHP on Dyno Dynamics Rollers, being fed by a single Bosch 044. I do however have a swirl pot being fed from the stock in-tank pump from which the 044 draws.

IIRC his bosch is sitting in the engine bay on the driver's side fendor.

I finally made a trip to the dyno. I made 2 pulls at 11# (520/560) and 3 at 15# (580/660). 580 whp at only 4650 RPM, hahaha. I'm VERY pleased with these numbers but I wish I could have squeezed out 600 whp. The tq on this thing is freakin crazy

The only way I can support fuel for 15# on the street is with much less Ethanol in the mix. Which means 10d less timing (15 instead of 25). Sucks. So, all of these pulls were made with a mix of 5 gallons E-85 to 12 gallons Premium. Still no intercooler, and without the external fuel pump assembly I made last month. Just the in-tank Walbro. This pull had no KR and a max IAT of 170. The dyno had little in the way of ventilation.

Also, I'm at 100% DC at 4800 RPM, hahaha. I need 80's or meth/E-85 injection.
