I have one of these nitro powered beast, but never raced the Goat against it. I just cant take a chance of losing to it and having my pride crushed! FYI, these little cars can touch 75 with no problem.

HAHA, I have a Nitro TC3 and there is no way my car would win. That thing would pull so hard in first and when second gear hit, it would just add insult to injury.
P.B. (First time out with DRs, and also had a FAT tune)

i would love to get into something like this. Im looking for a new hobby at the moment, since my current project of swapping a yamaha/suzuki 1000/750/600 streetbike motor into my predator is on hold for a while, and this could prolly end up being way cheaper and less time consuming to get going.
Thats crazy they make superchargers for them, i def. have to google it!
I have a couple nitro cars, but haven't messed with them in a long while. Picked up some electrics recently and have been having a blast. Electric has come a long way since I got my nitro RC cars. Look into brushless motors and lipos if you wanna go electric.
Dude, I have a A traxxas Jato 3.3 and Revo 3.3. I can rock wheels halfway down the street with the jato and have modified it a bunch. Haven't touched them since last summer but man are they fun.
Whoever is looking for a new hobby I recommend RC cars.... However plan on have a lotta downtime fixing them and a pocket full of cash. In onesummer alone I spent over $1500 on the Jato. Parts, tires and crashing them a whole lot.

i imagine anything can get expensive, especially the more you get into it. I have so much on my plate at the moment i wouldnt have time to get deep into it. i would just like to build one and play around with it.

There are some great deals to be had, especially on used stuff. It is definitely a blast. If you liked playing with rc car toys when you were a kid, you will LOVE the hobby class of RC's. The speed and handling is crazy. I'd suggest a truck though. I started with a touring car, but quickly found the limited places it could be used caused me to lose interest... Until I picked up an original t-maxx when they first came out.
If you look at new stuff, check out tower hobbies. It's worth it to join the super saver club, too. Its 10 bucks for a 1 year membership, and you will get free shipping on orders over 150, and the more you spend, the higher the discount. Example: As a member, on 300 dollar orders I get free shipping and 60 bucks off. Most of the models you look at will be right around that cost anyway.
I have a couple, one nitro and the other electric. They are a ton of fun but expensive. I have about $1500 in each of them. I did have a Truck but sold it before I put in money into it. It had a 3.75hp engine and would fly.
