Taylor, you'll want to make sure that you're parked on a level surface if you do it again. Also, try turning the wheel back and forth and possibly drive the car forward and backward a bit to try to get the chassis to flex a bit.
It wouldnt come off because your car was facing the wrong way with the rotation of the earth, the rotation was pulling it sideways causing it to pull on one side of the car causing it to be in a bind lol. face it towards the rotation prolly come right off.
