you going to launch it or pu$$y foot it like always

Here's my Run from Nov. 3 racing a C6 Ls2 vette, also for added entertainment value watch the idiot in bike leathers walk in front of me as I'm going into the burnout box then run right in front of me as I'm doing my burnout had to stop and start my burnout.

the run equated out to my fastest a 12.598@113.23MPH with a 1.8 60'

http://s30.beta.photobucket.com/user...98RUN.mp4.html

and here's my auto X run from the following day ended up doing a 49 sec run after this one but no go pro video of that run and trust me it's a lot harder than one might think if you simply judge by this video lol

Nice finally meeting you Chris. A few more runs and you will have it dialed in.

I was there from 1pm till close and the track was never shut down for more than 10 minutes, something I've never seen. Some ol' boy lost his drive shaft loop off the line. 2 civics were going after it, hot lapping for 3 hours. 1 of them dropped down into the high 14's. There were some quick trucks out, one hit mid 10's. A pair of Chevelle's put on a wheelie show every launch. Overall, not a lot of people out and a little windy.

Next weekend is the last TNT (Gates open @ 12pm). I'm not sure if I will be running or not, but we need to get together. 40% chance of rain as it stands right now.

Wade and I talked yesterday about making his 10 sec car. He's got all the stuff, we just need to install them. He has less than $1000 in parts. Somethimes cheap is better.

His new motto will be "Black is better than crack".

Terry needs to get his butt in gear!!!!!!!!!

We got the nitrous figured out today so we are going to come down to Tulsa Saturday for some test hits. Should be some good times out of the GTO.

I hope to see you all there.

The problem turned out to be bad plug wires!
We had a set of Grannatellis on it, put a set of Firecores on and problem solved.

How many hours of troubleshooting did that take?? You had to be thinking Nitrous/Fuel all the way since the wires were working 'fine' on motor. Glad you got it worked out.

74 Degrees and 45 mph wind gusts. Not ideal for sure. This Saturday's forecast has changed to 62 and sunny.

74 Degrees and 45 mph wind gusts. Not ideal for sure. This Saturday's forecast has changed to 62 and sunny.

We spent a bunch if time looking at several different things and was really surprised when we discovered it was plug wires.
We tracked down a really weird voltage fluctuation on the nitrous noids at the wires coming out right at the noid.
The voltage would be fine at the relay on the same wire, and the reading was only while running.
We seen that and was like WTF, how is that possible.. Then decided that the voltage was picking up feedback from something.
We moved the nitrous ground, still had the same problem.
Only thing left was changing plug wires, BINGO. The voltage reading was steady everywhere with the car running.

I got 2 good test hits on the little shot.
1st pass was a 9.65 @ 141 with like 10.5 afr LOL
Leaned it out half a pound and turned it on a little off the launch and got a 9.43 @ 143 with a 1.35 60ft but it didn't want to go into 3rd so I lifted for a bit and then hammered it in third through the lights.
The last pass it blew the tires off

I can't wait to put the big shot in it

Thanks for coming out guys!
It was great meeting and seeing you all again.

Thanks
Chris and Casey
