custom exhaust

Hey guys just had a local shop build me a custom 3inch exhaust with magnaflow mufflers...Im running this setup with no h pipe or x pipe.. My question is.. do you think its worth adding in a x pipe? would i really squeeze out more power with it?.. I also have slp headers

It would change the sound, doubtful there would be any performance difference. How does it run now?

It'll only add a few ponies. It will change the sound more than anything.

You can find an 3" x pipe on eBay for $25-$30 all day long. I've heard H adds low end and a deeper sound while x adds more up top with an exotic sound. I've used both, 2.5", 3" ,X, H, straight and for me the only thing that changed was sound. With that said I usually run an X pipe because I like the sound.

An X helps slightly but only if you're interested in shaving a tad off your ETs will you "notice" it.
