disable yaw sensor?

just curious if anyone knows where it is located or how to disable it.
when traction control is off it will never interfere when you are on the gas, however when you are off the gas and the car slides at all the car will "tap" the brakes and the brake peddle will shudder.makes the car very unpredictable, and upsets the chassis mid corner.
i was able to disable it on my infiniti. im hoping theres something i can do with this car as well.

This must be a new feature on the 2012 GTO. I don't recall seeing anything on the '04-06 that could automatically modulate the brakes or the brake pedal, and I certainly don't remember there being a yaw sensor.

Just sell me your car and it'll be in a better place. GTOs don't have DSTC, just TC.......brah.

Yeah, we just have Traction Control, there's no Stability Management on these archaic beasts.

The only thing we have that can cause something like this is ABS.

You forgot to mention you also need to roll down and up the passenger window five times while you hold the trunk release. Now I gotta go find that release button.

Also, it is 1 of 11tybillion so it is ultra rare.

Used to have:

12 SS LS3
08 G8 GT

They had no mods, cause I only mod turbo cars.

Brake, turn, power, not brake&turn&power. Don't touch the brake pedal in the turn. Like the man said, you're activating the ABS so you must be pokin' the pedal.

You have a common problem.

Pontiac has a TSB out on this issue. It is recommended you drain all the oil out of the engine, remove the filter, pour silica sand into the oil fill nozzle, then start engine and run at 6800rpms for 8 minutes. The Yaw Sensor will be disabled following you complete this procedure, in this order, without question.

Ok.. so the guy is new to this type of car and doesnt know its not equiped with some advanced features... big deal.

What was the point of telling him to do something to ruin his engine?

Because know-it-all lounge rats trying to be the cool kids.

The question, while uninformed, was innocent enough. Had to roll my eyes when somebody linked this in the FPFQ thread. He did not exhibit FPFQ at all. he asked a question, got an answer out of the sea of "oh look how cool i can be with misinformation!", and said thanks. More a case of AAFQ than anything.
