LMAO @ Mr. 5 Speed

Paul this is nothing, there are many entertaining pages like this through this thread that has been running for years.

Sure thing Mike.....

I guess I need to mention the fact that Mr. 5 Speed hasnt been able to beat my fastest e.t. ,mph, 60 foot or wheels in the air for the 20 years we been racing together. My god, how many more years do I have to give him to get there? Hell it took him 16 years just to get in the 6's......

Your done shifting by the 1/8th (for the stick guys) so its just a ride to the end.

I say just be glad you have somewhere to race and support whatever track it is so they dont close too.

The launch may be the best part, but I love 1/4 mile tracks the mostly due to back when I was stock getting out launched and beat in the 1/8th by a solstice gxp then passing him before the 1/4 hurt my feelings. Then again if this car would hook I wouldnt have that problem.

LOL................listen up homes you're only as good as your last run! Oh yeah........i broke 3 wheels studs when it launched and coasted to a 7.95 last weekend..................so i suck lol.........

I've also got MORE 6 second runs than you.........didnt the turtle beat the rabbit? LOL............It may have taken me longer to get there but i've managed to STAY there.................also i still think they're trying to clean the oil stain out of the old SACK N SAVE parking lot were you lunched that "6 second wheelie machine"'s shortblock doing nitrous burnouts to impress the bag boys..............and that WAS 20 years ago!

Dont make me put a 150 hose on it and steal your LAST worthy record! And drive it up there to boot!......................and maybe home if it was still together........

Just pull that damn overgrown lawn art out from under its permanent home and spray the whole mess down with that 600hp FOGGER and it *should* get back in the 6's.........i'll be there WITH Tony waitin on ya! WHOOHOO its ON now mofos!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

At-mo should be open in Jan. Mike...........look forward to seeing what you're driving 2 months from now LMFAO or you'll have that GXPsy running strong by then...........there was a dude at mobile ('600ft.) a few weeks back running 6.50's@94/95ish on the hose with a G8........his name was Rodney and his son is named Rodney also....that can get confusing lol............

The 1/8 mile is much more fun to me. Less on the car as well.

No plans for the gxp, till next year, other than what it already has. Should be low 8 second car, but who knows. I was told it went 12.75 @ 110 with cai and box tune, before headers and a dyno tune... We'll see in some good low humidity weather...

So after my tuing fiasco the a week or so ago, I have a recurring p0171 code popping up. I am going to get some Brake Cleaner and spray around to check for vaccum leaks but i'm almost positive that it is going to be a bad 02 sensor.

I am running Catless mids and have not had this problem until I ran the stock tune for about a week.

Any ideas?

Edit: Car runs like idles and runs like shit through 1st gear. After that, all is normal.

2nd Edit: Fixed it...check this out! Have noooo idea how this clamp came loose. Cleared the codes and we'll see how it runs over the next couple of days.

Since I don't have many "goat bros" I figured I post up on here on the recommendation of one of my goat bros. lol. I'll be installing longtubes sometime in February and I've never done it and will be needing some help. If anyone would be able help that would be fantastic. I know this is like a month away but I wanted to just put the bug in everyone's ear.

That would be fantastic. Especially is you've done headers before. Might know some tricks to make things go more smoothly.
