Horsepower and torque are mathematically connected so saying torque wins races is a bit naive.

I agree 100%. In no way shape or form can you compare two different cars on two different dyno's, on the other hand if one car uses the same dyno with similar conditions then I think its a decent way to gauge increases with modding and so forth.
