Sorry to hear it Jim, but glad to hear it's going to another enthusiast. If you see us at any of the shows next summer say "Hi."

While I was sad to see an end to my "collector" performance cars, it made me feel good to see the new owners reaction like a kid with a new toy.

I've enjoyed being a member of this site and will continue to visit from time to time. I've also enjoyed meeting the great GTO guys in Southeastern Wisconsin while going to local car shows. I'll still be going to Georgie Porgies Saturday night car shows and some shows at Gus's Mexican Cantina in Franklin as long as I can.

Stay safe, have fun in your GTO's and drive 'em like you stole 'em! At 70 years old, I'll be driving my more conservative 302 H.P. '12 Impala. Oh well, . . . . (big yawn) . . . . it does get over 30 MPG on the highway!

Also, I'll be selling the original wheels and tires that were on my car when it was delivered. They are in mint condition with only about 2500 miles on two of them and about 1000 miles on the other two. (2 had to be replaced on warranty due to a poor front end alignment) I also have several '06 32 page sales brochures that I'll be selling that are in excellent condition. I'd like to see them go to guys in Southeastern WI.

We'll miss your car Jim, that thing was immaculate! Hope to see you around at the shows though, and I will most likely will give you crap for selling it....

I'm sorry, I just noticed that I didn't state that the wheels are 17's in my original post.

That's exactly why I wanted 17's when I bought my car. If you're interested, give me a call at 414-764-1539. Hopefully, I can give you a good price. I live in Oak Creek.

Wheels and tires sold yesterday for $575 to a guy in Rockford, IL. They were worth more, but he had cash in hand and I no longer wanted to store them.

Talking Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

My GTO is gone, but I still enjoy checking in to see what's happening.

I hope you have the Merriest Christmas and a healthy, prosperous and Happy New Year! I'm sure I'll see some of the Milwaukee area members this summer. Stay safe, God Bless.

Unfortunately there will be no more GTO show at Salentine as I've just learned they have closed down While I'm sure the show will move to some other location, I always liked Salentine for their family atmosphere, treatment and are the ones I bought my goat from.

Not cool, they had really awesome service there. Sad to see an old dealership like that go!

How did you find out they're gone for good?

Beloit area

Greetings Guys; I would be interested in a New Glarus run. I would guess that many here are also on the Chicago Holden Connection. Another great run is over by the great river, lots of curves. Think spring Bob Holden Jr

Pontiac day at Byron

Greetings Guys; I'm trying to interest you all in going to Byron this summer for Pontiac day. It's a fine place to spend a Saturday afternoon, with the smell of burnt rubber and grilled burgers usually not burnt. Paved pits, rarely crowed, $25 or $30 plus a tank of gas or 2 and of course possible broken parts. I ran 13.4 when the car was 98% stock. So I'm curious if it is any quicker with the headers & Super chips tune. Bob Holden Jr

You can count me in for a cruise this Spring and keep me up to date on the outings to Byron and GLD.

Should have mods installed by early April. Also curious to see what it will do with the new mods.

Looks like we've got some good fresh blood this year. Hopefully it'll be easier to get people out for events than in the past now.

Welcome to everyone.

do I have to upgrade the intake mani in order to run a larger throttle body? or its not worth doing a larger throttle without upgrading the intake mani? Sorry for so many newbie questions

Which shops in the Milwaukee area do you guys trust with your cars? My 04 has been sitting for about a year now. I had a random miss fire start across all cylinders and blew out one of my cats. I'm looking to replace my plugs, wires, full exhaust, and get a tune.
