vids of spintech

Here is my baby with its new cat-back (major upgrade from the crapmasters that were on it). I personally think it sounds amazing, drone is not bad at all cruising and sounds like the devil when you get all over it. Videos are mainly to give people on the verge of purchasing spintech that extra push xD

Go mods-kooks ss headers,kooks hi flo cats,spintech,torquer v2 112 lsa,ported fast 92 and throttle body,hardcore style intake

(iphone 4)

(iphone 5, forget the rattle, Change+empty soda can in cupholder)

Nice. I've had mine on for over 6 years now and they still sound amazing. Only difference now is the 416 and I went catless. Sure is fun blasting it in underground parking and watching all the car alarms go off....lol.

Yup. Spintech has been a pretty popular exhaust for years. I've had a variety of different Spintech configurations on my GTO's since 2008.

To me, it doesn't get any better than the Spintech sound:

05 (Kooks, Catted Mids, SSHT Cam, H-Pipe, Spintech Super Pro Street Axleback):

06 (Kooks, Catted Mids, Spintech 3" Catback with H-Pipe):

Do the Spintech Super Pro Streets drone a lot? I was thinking about getting them. My car is stock except for a resonator delete.

Little drone at all, even at cruising speeds and conversations are had with no problem.

Spintechs were too loud for me when my car had L/T catted X and an MS3 so I had flowmasters installed but since my car now has stock manifolds, catted x and a milder cam, I recently switched back to the spintechs. At idle I don't think it sounds too much different then the flows but driving around and especially WOT their is a difference. Spintechs have a more aggressive tone.

Yea people have a hard time believing that there is little to no drone..I sat in my friends SLP LM1 headers and cammed car and it felt like I had to scream at him to talk to him..Was so annoying I couldnt stand it and it droned like a SOB

My brand new side-exit Spintech (H pipe) is on the UPS truck fo' delivery today (THANK YOU MARYLAND SPEED!!!).

Can.
Not.
Wait

My mod history is limited, but am not afraid to get in there and try it. Any pointers from any other side exit goats on what to avoid. I got 2 sets of 12-ton (overkill, i know) jack stands to lift it up. Beyond that, i have just an average mechanics type tool arsenal.

Any special tools or things you would have gone right on instead of left? Thanks in advance. I am gonna video the whole removal and install (not only for future guys, but I am *SURE* I am gonna drop the stock exhaust on my face at least once, and the vid might be worth a few chuckles).
