Fog light issue

Long time reader, first time poster, actually I just made an account on here earlier. Today alone I have read for hours on some information, not able to find what I am looking for. So one of my fog lights will not turn on, I replaced both bulbs because both were out, that turned one on and the other I get nothing. I put the drivers bulb, which is the one with the issue, into the passenger side and it illuminated... the guy I got the car off of, looks like he took out the harness to the drivers side lights before, and didn't clip it in, the black wire wrap has some road rash in places, but the wires all look okay, so I assume I am looking for the ground that the drivers fog is plugged into? Where would that be located, over behind the battery with the other grounds? I've been living with no fogs, but it has been getting foggy around here and they would be nice to have. Thanks!

EDIT: BTW I have an '04 m6, if that has meaning to anyone!

Turns out its power not ground, I made it into work for my tester and tested my connector... found a ground but I couldn't find any power at the connector with it plugged in.

I appreciate the schematic, however, I was looking for a location in the engine bay for the ground, as I've seen the scematic. I know more than one person has come across the ground somewhere in their travels of their engine bay.
