New GM core support and more

I rebuilt a salvage gto and first ordered this stuff then found a deal on a roller to use for parts instead. All of these are brand new and have just been sitting collecting dust for a couple months. Located in Harrisburg PA.

#1 Core support. This is #1 on the diagram below. $755 from gmpartshouse - ASKING $600 plus shipping

#2 Lower tie bar that connects the front rails. This is #5 on the diagram below. $240 from gmpartshouse - ASKING $190 plus shipping

#3 Bumper brace bracket for right/passenger side. This is #5 on the diagram below. $30 shipped

#4 Wheel house brace for right/passenger side. This is #6 on the diagram below. $30 shipped

I'm very very very interested. I'll let you know by the end of today after tearing into the Goat today to see if it's even worth fixing.

So, I'm at a crossroads. A whole "front end" would cost ~$3500. All this, plus a hood would put me At ~1/3 of that price. Plus, I'll need a driver's side fender. From the looks of your avatar, it looks like you have a new one as well. Did you buy it from the dealer or aftermarket? How much?

Also need both headlamps.

Only thing that concerns me is if they (bodyshop) start tearing into it and start finding more and more crapola that needs replacing.

Arghhh.

I got fiberglass fenders from rhys millen racing that add to the look for $570+100 shipping. I only needed 1 headlight for my rebuild and searched allofcraigslist and found the one I needed.

How was the fitment? Hate how they look (no offense), but the pair is cheaper than a single fender from the dealer.

Not bad at all ... did they just bolt right up, or did you have to fiddle with it a bunch to get it them to sit properly?

I'll have my pops talk to the bodyshop guys tomorrow to make sure they're OK with working with aftermarket parts. I know they can often be a major PITA, but it'll save me quite a bit of coin going this route ... and a decent amount of weight off the nose as well. Win win ...

There is marks where you have to drill your own holes but after that they pretty much just bolted on. They will still need some work to fix fiberglass flaws.

Nobody wants these parts?????

No joke the previous owner of my car used item number 2 as a jacking point. I didn't see that until I went to put a svede on my car and it didn't work. Fast forward a year or two to this week and my radiator took a sh!t, while I'm in there screwing around I'm going to look if that's all that's smurfed.
