I love the shifter. One of the best mods I ever put on my goat... And I got quite a few mods.

+100. No idea what number we are at. I like mine but I'd love to lessen the tranny whine.

Bump for a great tuner and a great product.

I have one in my car and would not take it out for any other shifter.

Just finished installing one the MGW-P in my 05 GTO. It's an excellent piece. Throws are short and the feel is very precise in all gears. Night and day difference compared to the stock shifter. I'm not disappointed at all.

How does the Factory knob affix to this? I like the factory style better than the shifter ball style.

It has the same mechanism as the factory shifter. Silicone the factory knob and push it down on the shifter.

Considering that's how it's done at the factory, yes.

Love mine. The only annoying thing is the knob always loosens itself from the bolt underneath holding it in position. I have to twist it tight around the threads, but this makes it so the 1-6 gear pattern isn't aligned how it should be, any ideas on the fix?

It's like mine. I added a couple washers to mine. However, you can do one of two things: use a wrench and spin the shaft up to the ball while holding it in line and making it tight that way. Just don't break the ball. Second, you can go get another nut like th bottom locking nut and lock that against the shaft. Do that while making sure the ball doesn't move and you'll be fine. I wish he included two nuts with the shaft. That would be heaven.

Enjoy
